Alyssa Marie Redondo is the first Power of Beauty titleholder from the Philippines — and the first to finish as 2nd runner-up at Miss Intercontinental as well. Introduced in 2018 and an official special award since 2021, the title gives its winner a direct place in the Top 7 of the final, alongside the continental queens.

Her story
The 24-year-old from Laguna, Philippines, caught the jury’s eye with her height of 173 cm and her striking, exotic look. Alyssa Marie plays volleyball, badminton and basketball, loves adventures, goes hiking and models. She speaks Filipino (Tagalog) and English — and she can sign the American Sign Language alphabet.
Alyssa describes herself as optimistic, determined and compassionate. For her, the Power of Beauty title stands for a deeper kind of beauty that goes beyond appearance: true beauty combines inner qualities with outer beauty.
As the new Power of Beauty, she becomes a goodwill ambassador for the Miss Intercontinental Organization and raises public awareness of issues that harm society: the fight against drug abuse, poverty eradication, gender equality, health and nutrition, and environmental conservation.
Alyssa is cheerful, adaptable, persevering and hard-working, and she loves to help and inspire others. Miss Intercontinental is proud to welcome her as the fourth Power of Beauty titleholder.
