Power of Beauty 2022 Emmy Carrero

Her story

At 27, Emmy is a businesswoman and a talented writer of children’s stories. She loves tango and fitness, and besides her native Spanish she is fluent in English and also speaks Georgian and a little Russian.

What made her the Power of Beauty titleholder? She is multilingual, runs her own business — and Miss Intercontinental was the very first international pageant she ever entered.

As the new Power of Beauty, she becomes a goodwill ambassador for the Miss Intercontinental Organization and raises public awareness of issues that harm society: the fight against drug abuse, poverty eradication, gender equality, health and nutrition, and environmental conservation.

Emmy is charismatic, persevering and hard-working, and she loves helping others. That is why, in 2018, she founded TSHV, a non-profit foundation that supports children and girls from low-income families. Miss Intercontinental is proud to have her as its second Power of Beauty titleholder — and the first from Venezuela.

I am a resilient, charismatic, persevering and hard-working woman. I like to feel close to people and to help others — that is why T.S.H.V. was born in 2018: a non-profit foundation that helps children and girls from low-income families. Miss Intercontinental is a dream come true, and I am sure we can keep working together and reach new goals in the future.
